New hope drug enters human testing for Tough-to-Treat cancers

Summary
This is an early-stage study to test the safety and find the right dose of a new drug called SMP-3124LP for adults with advanced solid tumors that have progressed after standard treatments. The trial will also look for early signs that the drug can help control the cancer. It is open to people with specific advanced cancers, including certain types of ovarian, breast, lung, and head and neck cancers.
