Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 431 people diagnosed with smoldering multiple myeloma, a pre-cancerous blood condition. The goal was to understand how the disease behaves in real life, identify which patients are at higher risk of it turning into active cancer, and see what treatments were used and how well they worked. It did not test any new treatments but gathered knowledge to help doctors better manage this condition in the future.
