First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of counseling designed to prevent young ex-smokers (ages 25 and under) from relapsing. About 100 participants who recently quit smoking will receive either the new personalized counseling or standard support. Researchers will check if the approach is practical and acceptable, and whether it helps people stay tobacco-free for at least 30 days.
