Can a brain game help you quit smoking for good?
NCT ID NCT07025772
Summary
This study is testing whether a computer-based training exercise, called approach bias retraining, can help people quit smoking and stay smoke-free longer when it's added to standard quit-smoking treatment. Researchers will enroll 300 adult smokers who want to quit and randomly assign them to receive either the standard treatment alone, the standard treatment plus the computer training, or the standard treatment plus a fake version of the training. The main goal is to see which group has the most success in not smoking at follow-up visits over six months.
