First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares a smoking cessation smartphone app (iCanQuit) alone versus the app plus nicotine replacement therapy (like patches or gum) in 854 Hispanic adults who want to quit. Participants must smoke at least one cigarette daily and be ready to quit within 30 days. The goal is to see if adding nicotine replacement helps more people stay smoke-free for 30 days.
