Smokers vs. Non-Smokers: the battle for bone healing
NCT ID NCT07372183
Summary
This small pilot study aims to understand how smoking affects bone healing after a tooth is pulled and a bone graft is placed. Researchers will compare 12 smokers and non-smokers by measuring healing, pain, and analyzing a tiny bone sample taken months later. The information will be used to plan a larger future study on this topic.
