New program aims to protect kids from secondhand smoke in at-risk homes

Summary

This study combines two proven programs to help mothers involved with child protective services make their homes smoke-free. The goal is to reduce children's exposure to secondhand smoke and improve parenting. About 268 families will take part, and researchers will measure changes in home smoking rules and air nicotine levels.
