New nose spray combo tested to bring back lost sense of smell
NCT ID NCT07383415
Summary
This study tests whether adding insulin to a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) nose spray helps people recover their sense of smell better than PRP spray alone. It is for adults who lost their smell after an infection and have not gotten it back with standard training. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two spray treatments, and their smell will be tested over time to see which works better.
