First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding insulin to a platelet-rich plasma nose spray helps people who lost their sense of smell after an infection. Twenty adults who still can't smell well despite training will get either the combination spray or plasma alone. Researchers will measure how much their smell improves over time.
