Summary

This study tested a steroid nasal spray (beclomethasone) against a placebo in 16 adults who lost their sense of smell for more than 3 months after COVID. The goal was to see if the spray could improve smell function and quality of life. The trial was small and early-stage, so results are not yet conclusive.
