Can your spit reveal your feelings? science sniffs for clues
NCT ID NCT07320040
Summary
This study aims to understand the connection between smells and emotions by measuring natural chemicals in saliva. Researchers will expose 240 adult volunteers to different scents and collect their saliva to see if specific 'biomarker' levels change with their emotional response. The goal is to gather knowledge about how our bodies physically react to emotions, not to treat any condition.
