First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study is checking if a Samsung smartwatch can accurately measure blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, anxiety, and sleep quality in 60 adults scheduled for disc herniation surgery. Participants will wear the watch before surgery, and its readings will be compared to standard medical devices and questionnaires. The goal is to see if smartwatches could be a convenient tool for monitoring patients before an operation.
