Your phone could soon spot eye trouble in 2 minutes
NCT ID NCT03475147
Summary
This study is testing a new smartphone app called eyeFusion to see if it can accurately measure a person's flicker fusion threshold, which is related to vision health. Researchers will enroll 500 people, including healthy adults and those with a specific vision condition called scotoma (a blind spot). The goal is to validate if this quick, 2-minute test could one day help doctors easily screen for or monitor certain eye disorders.
