First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone inclinometer app can reliably measure thoracic kyphosis (a rounded upper back) compared to the standard flexicurve tool. Sixty adults aged 18–30 with a curvature over 30 degrees were measured by two raters. The goal was to see if the app could be a trustworthy alternative for monitoring spine shape.
