Can your phone help ease social anxiety? new study tests App-Based therapy
NCT ID NCT06732999
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app could reliably track symptoms of social anxiety. Researchers also wanted to see if a specific computer-based attention training program, where participants listened to music when focusing on neutral faces, could reduce those symptoms. Forty adults with social anxiety used the app and completed the training, and their progress was compared to standard questionnaires.
