First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app (BHQ) can reliably monitor social anxiety symptoms in 40 adults with social anxiety disorder (SAD) and measure the effects of a therapy called gaze-contingent music reward therapy (GC-MRT). Participants used the app while undergoing the therapy, and their results were compared to standard clinical questionnaires. The goal was to see if digital monitoring could replace or supplement traditional assessments for tracking symptom relief.
