Your phone could help diagnose a hunchback
NCT ID NCT05295550
Summary
This study tested how reliably a smartphone app and a flexible measuring tool could assess the curve of the upper spine, known as thoracic kyphosis. Researchers had two different evaluators measure 60 young adults with a noticeable spinal curve. The goal was to see if these simple tools could provide consistent and accurate measurements for diagnosis.
