Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app with video instructions helps patients prepare their bowels better for a colonoscopy than standard paper instructions. Nearly 500 patients were randomly assigned to use the app or get standard education. The goal was to see which method led to a cleaner colon, which helps doctors spot problems more easily during the procedure.
