Your phone could soon diagnose your sleep apnea
NCT ID NCT06474143
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app called Apneal can accurately diagnose sleep apnea. Researchers compared the app's results against the standard overnight sleep test (polysomnography) in 491 adults. The goal was to see if the app could correctly categorize the severity of a person's sleep apnea as normal, mild, moderate, or severe.
