Phone app aims to unlock mysteries of rare muscle paralysis

NCT ID NCT05976958

Summary

This study tested a smartphone app designed to help people with periodic paralysis track their muscle weakness attacks in real-time. The goal was to see if logging details like attack frequency, duration, and triggers on a phone provides more accurate information than trying to remember and report them later at a doctor's visit. Only two participants were enrolled before the study was stopped.
