Can't put your phone down? it might be making you tired
NCT ID NCT07487922
Summary
This study aimed to understand if a high fear of being without a smartphone, called nomophobia, makes young adults more susceptible to muscle stiffness and slower mental reactions after physical exercise. Researchers compared 90 young adults with high and low nomophobia levels by measuring their muscle response and reaction times before and after a strenuous plank exercise. The goal was to gather objective evidence on how smartphone dependency might affect physical and mental resilience.
