Summary

This study tests if a text messaging program called SmartMom can help pregnant people learn more about healthy pregnancy and adopt positive health behaviors. About 3,000 pregnant people in Canada will receive either health-promoting texts or general interest texts throughout their pregnancy. Researchers will measure changes in knowledge, mental health, and pregnancy outcomes.
