First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a smart wearable wristband can help older adults with disabilities become more active and improve the quality of care they receive at home. About 1,080 participants, including seniors, their family caregivers, and care providers, will use the wristband for 8 weeks to track steps, heart rate, and fatigue. The goal is to see if this technology can boost physical function and reduce caregiver stress.
