First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study uses a special smart underwear device to track how often healthy adults pass gas and how their fiber intake affects it. Up to 500 people across the US will wear the device for three days and log their meals in a phone app. The goal is to understand normal gut activity and how diet influences it. No treatment is given — it is purely observational.
