New smart system aims to spot dangerous dizziness before falls happen
NCT ID NCT07309666
Summary
This study is testing a new smart diagnostic system designed to better identify and classify orthostatic hypotension (OH), a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing up. It will enroll 2000 adults with conditions like Parkinson's disease or diabetes who experience OH. The system uses continuous monitoring of blood pressure and brain blood flow during a standing test to create a more precise diagnosis and risk assessment.
