Phone app aims to ease life for bladder cancer patients after surgery
NCT ID NCT07201441
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone-based health platform could help patients who have had bladder removal surgery (urostomy) better manage their care at home. The platform provided personalized education, skill assessments, and a way to ask nurses questions remotely. Researchers wanted to see if this support could improve patients' self-care abilities and reduce their anxiety after leaving the hospital.
