Smart mouth guard aims to tame nighttime teeth grinding

NCT ID NCT06688474

Summary

This study tested a new 'smart' night guard designed to measure the force of teeth clenching and grinding during sleep. Participants with bruxism were asked to wear the device for 21 nights to see if its tiny sensors could successfully record this data. The goal was to gather information to help dentists better understand and manage this condition.
