Smart implants track recovery: which knee surgery gets you walking faster?
NCT ID NCT07348835
Summary
This study uses a special 'smart' knee implant to track how patients recover after knee replacement surgery. Researchers will compare two different surgical techniques to see if one helps people walk better and recover faster in the first month after surgery. The smart implant continuously measures walking patterns, while patients also report their pain and function. The goal is to understand which surgical approach leads to better early recovery.
