Summary
This study looked at whether using a smart grip device for forearm exercises helps people who just had surgery to create a blood vessel connection (arteriovenous fistula) for dialysis. 52 adults with advanced kidney disease were enrolled. The goal was to see if the device improved blood vessel function and hand strength better than standard care, and if patients stuck with the exercises.
