Smart tech exercise boosts strength and mood in elderly care homes
NCT ID NCT07197528
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week personalized exercise program using a smart rehabilitation device could help elderly residents in long-term care. Forty-two participants with age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia) were split into two groups. One group used the smart device for guided exercises three times a week, while the other continued with their usual care, to see if the program improved strength, joint movement, mood, and daily living skills.
