Major global test launched to curb binge drinking and drunk driving
NCT ID NCT03262259
Summary
This study is testing a package of city-wide programs aimed at preventing alcohol-related harm. It will compare results in nine cities that implement the programs against nine similar cities that do not. The goal is to see if these community-level strategies—like better enforcement of drunk driving laws and doctor screenings—can reduce dangerous drinking behaviors and related injuries by at least 10%.
