Smart crutches could help broken legs heal faster

Summary
This study is testing whether using smart crutch tips that give real-time feedback can help people recover better after surgery for a broken lower leg bone. Researchers want to see if personalized weight-bearing plans, guided by the smart crutches, lead to faster bone healing and less fear of moving. The study will compare this new approach to standard recovery methods in 30 adults over 36 weeks.
