Smart crutches aim to speed bone healing with personalized weight plans

Summary
This study is testing whether 'smart' crutch tips that give real-time audio and visual feedback can help people recover faster from a broken shin bone. Researchers want to see if a personalized weight-bearing plan, created using CT scans and computer modeling, helps the bone heal quicker and gets people walking normally sooner than standard rehab. The study will compare three different recovery approaches in 30 adults who have had surgery for this type of fracture.
