Smart bandage aims to heal stubborn leg wounds
NCT ID NCT07268482
Summary
This study is testing a new 'smart' bandage system to see if it helps leg ulcers heal better. The system uses a small sensor under the bandage to measure pressure and sends the readings to nurses, helping them apply the right amount of compression. Researchers will compare healing in 40 patients using the smart system to those receiving standard care over 90 days.
