Smart bandage could revolutionize wound care
NCT ID NCT07152717
Summary
This study tests a smart bandage system called Tight Alright that monitors pressure to improve treatment for leg ulcers. The system uses sensors and a mobile app to help healthcare providers apply the right compression and track healing progress. Researchers will compare the smart bandage approach to standard care in 40 adults with venous leg ulcers to see if it helps wounds heal faster.
