New drug combo tested for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer
NCT ID NCT07465757
Summary
This study is testing a new two-drug combination (alisertib pills and paclitaxel infusions) for adults with small cell lung cancer that has continued to grow despite prior chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The main goal is to find the highest dose of alisertib that can be safely given alongside paclitaxel by carefully monitoring side effects in small groups of participants. Researchers will also track whether the treatment helps shrink tumors or slow the cancer's progression.
