Summary
This study aims to understand how the food environment in urban slums influences what caregivers feed children under five years old in Pune, India. Researchers will interview about 370 caregivers and map local food markets to learn what foods are available, affordable, and considered safe or convenient. The goal is to gather knowledge to help improve child feeding practices and nutrition in these challenging settings.
