Summary

This study tested a new type of eyeglass lens designed to slow the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children aged 6 to 12. The lens aims to reduce the lengthening of the eye and the need for stronger prescriptions over time. 159 children participated, and the lens was found to be safe and effective in slowing myopia progression.
