Deep breaths for Moms-to-Be: simple technique may ease pregnancy hypertension
NCT ID NCT04059822
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether slow, deep breathing for 10 minutes each day could help lower blood pressure in pregnant women with pregnancy-induced hypertension. Only one person took part before the study was stopped early, so we don't have enough information to know if it works. The goal was to see if a larger study would be possible.
