Sling could boost bonding for C-Section moms and newborns

NCT ID NCT06502860

Summary

This study tested if using a simple sling helps new mothers have longer skin-to-skin contact with their babies after a cesarean birth. It involved 78 first-time mothers who had a C-section. Researchers compared standard skin-to-skin contact to using a sling to see which method led to longer contact time and better breastfeeding success.
