New hope for depressed patients who struggle to stay awake
NCT ID NCT07484217
Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called solriamfetol can help control symptoms in adults with major depression who also experience severe daytime sleepiness. First, all 508 participants will receive the active drug. Those who respond well will then be randomly assigned to either continue the drug or switch to a placebo to see if symptoms return. The main goal is to see if continuing the medication helps prevent depression symptoms from coming back.
