Can better sleep slow memory decline? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT05987007
Summary
This study is testing whether improving sleep can help protect memory and thinking skills in older adults who have early signs of memory loss and trouble sleeping. Researchers will compare two different sleep treatments: talk therapy for insomnia and a headband that plays gentle sounds to enhance deep sleep. The goal is to see if better sleep over six months can improve daily functioning and slow cognitive decline.
