Scientists probe Sleep-Vitamin link in autistic toddlers

NCT ID NCT07470138

Summary

This study aims to better understand sleep problems in preschool-aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Researchers will observe 200 children aged 18-60 months with ASD, collecting information about their sleep patterns and measuring their blood levels of vitamin D and iron. The goal is to see if there is a connection between these nutrient levels and specific types of sleep disturbances, which are very common in children with ASD and can impact their development.
