First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looks at how not getting enough sleep changes stress and sex hormones in healthy older men and women who have gone through menopause. Researchers will measure cortisol and testosterone levels before and after four nights of limited sleep, and also check how sleep loss affects thinking, food intake, and cravings. The goal is to better understand the body's hormone response to sleep restriction.
