Scientists probe why you feel groggy after a night nap
NCT ID NCT07409883
Summary
This study aims to understand the link between deep sleep and the groggy feeling (sleep inertia) people experience right after waking from a night nap. Researchers will observe 28 healthy adults during simulated night shifts, having them take 2-hour naps. They will measure brain waves before waking and test alertness immediately after and 30 minutes after waking.
