First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests a device that sends mild electrical pulses to a nerve in the ear to improve sleep in adults who are blind or severely sight-impaired. About 60 participants will use the device for 30 minutes daily for 4 weeks. Half will get the real device, half a placebo. Researchers will check if sleep quality improves and if the device is safe and easy to use.
