Can better bedtimes stop childhood weight gain? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06810557
Summary
This study is testing whether a brief program to help children sleep longer can help prevent excessive weight gain. It will enroll 50 children, aged 6-11, who sleep less than 9 hours a night. Families will either work one-on-one with a nurse to learn sleep strategies or receive educational handouts, and researchers will track sleep, diet, activity, and weight over 6 months.
