Summary

This study aims to understand the brain chemicals that make us feel rested after sleep. Researchers will give healthy volunteers either a test drug (dexmedetomidine) or a placebo and measure their sleep patterns in a lab. The goal is to learn how sleep is regulated, not to treat a sleep disorder.
