Can an extra hour of sleep help kids slim down and learn better?

NCT ID NCT06341179

Summary

This study is testing whether getting more sleep can help children who are above average weight and who sleep less than recommended. Researchers will have 142 children, aged 6-12, try to go to bed 60-90 minutes earlier for three months to add about 45 minutes of sleep per night. They will measure changes in the children's weight, body fat, and learning abilities to see if the extra sleep helps.
