Scientists scan Kids' sleep to map the growing brain

NCT ID NCT04639830

Summary

This study aims to understand how sleep patterns are linked to brain development in young children. Researchers will observe 244 children, including both healthy kids and those at risk for or diagnosed with neurodevelopmental conditions. They will use overnight sleep studies and developmental assessments over two years to create a database, hoping to find patterns that might predict future cognitive and behavioral outcomes.
